I've decided on the Rigid cordless drill. Now I need to decide between the X2 or the standard drill. Not using it proffesionally or every day. Mainly for woodworking hobby and home repair and maybe a deck or 2. Will I regret not getting the X2? I have an HP Photosmart M417. It seems to take ok pictures but I have a problem with charging it. I have read the directions thoroughly and even had some online tech support. Also tried new batteries. It indicates that it is indeed charging. But, I take about 30 pictures if that and I get a battery warning. Then I can take like 70 more pictures before it shuts off. I have 3 computers, the Xbox, and a DSL modem connected to a hub. I was having no problems streaming videos to my Xbox until the 3rd PC was added. Now, if all 3 are connected to the switch at the same time streaming video is very choppy and unwatchable. Does anyone know what the problem might be? Whenever I play a DVD streamed from my PC to XBMC, the fast forward/rewind function is near useless. If I attempt to go above x2 it just freezes until I press play and it jumps forward (or back). Am I right in thinking this is because it can't cope with the amount of data being transferred? Ok.. I know this sounds like a stupid question but.. Often if I have a 3 day weekend or can squeeze something into a regular weekend I like to head to the mountains to take pictures. The problem is I never get very far down the trails since I can't help but stop every few feet to take some shots of something. The problem is I want to actually hike in a ways to get to the areas that are traveled much less (and thus photographed less) but I never seem to make it. Just been doing some NEF experimentation today. Turns out that when I open the NEFs in Nikon Capture and save them as TIFF files, the file size ups itself from around 6mb per picture to over 30mbs per picture! :shock: Anyone know why this happens?
